Pinch pots are one of the easiest forms of pottery: just roll a ball, stick in a thumb, pinch and rotate. These pots were made from oven-bake Sculpey clay, and painted with acrylic paint once they were fired.
Geometric Abstractions
For this project, we used tape to create geometric patterns on black canvas, and then painted over the entire surface with various techniques. The final products had a cool, urban look to them, and ended up being popular auction items at our gala fundraiser.
